In The Sweet Bye & Bye
Preservation Hall Jazz Band
SONY/COLUMBIA
Release Date: 1996/02/20
Length: 61:45

This is the first album by the band since the passing of the legendary Humphrey Brothers. Every piece is a good, old church song that everybody knows - with a New Orleans jazz taste. Dixieland Jazz is said to be originated from the Christian funerals in New Orleans, and the spirit of sending the Brothers to the Better Place is soulfully expressed in this album.
