 This legendary group was founded by Albertina Walker in Chicago in 1952, and one can imagine how historically important it was by naming some of the members such as Walker, Rev. James Cleveland, Shirley Caesar, and Dorothy Norwood. This 24-song album is a combination of two previously released albums, "Walk Around Heaven All Day" (1964) and "The Caravans in Concert" (1965) and features the powerful voices of forementioned artists as well as Cassietta George, Dolores Washington, and others.
