The second album from the Southern
California group showcases Brent Jones's talent not only as a performer
but also as a songwriter. The songs in this album are written in various
styles including soul and reggae.
"Get Up!" is very rythmical and is a perfect
fit for the first song. Stephen "Rasta GT" Dolphin leads the
song with a reggae beat, "Rich." Cheryl "CoCo" Gamble
of SWV beautifully sings "Midnite," a song about a "wake-up
call" in which God is telling people not to wail until they face
a disaster or damage but also look up and talk to Him.
One thing that can not be ignored is the chorus by
the T.P. Mobb, and with the message in each song and their performance,
this album turned out to be so "Beautiful."
