    Editorial Reviews:

With an "alright, this time it's for real" promise, Toby Mac turns the keys of the ignition and hits the gas on Portable Sounds, his third and most impressive solo effort to date. The musician-producer sounds more confident and comfortable than ever before, deftly mixing elements of rap, rock, pop, R&B, funk, and even a little reggae into a deliciously creative entree. Some of the "joints on this record" - as Toby Mac's boy TruDog calls them - fall more into one style or another. Yet the world party sound that Toby Mac introduced on his previous Diverse City is built upon here with the opening "One World" as well as "No Ordinary Love." Pop flavors more tracks than before with guitar-driven numbers like "Made to Love," "I'm For You," and the infectious "Suddenly." Fans will also be pleased as TruDog is indeed back on the ridiculously cute "Hype Man." Urgent rockers like "Ignition" and the silky smooth "Lose My Soul" give even more spice and variety to liven up an already electric mix. The latter track is finely tuned with guest vocals from Kirk Franklin and Toby Mac pal Mandisa. Much like Sting, Toby Mac has transcended a former identity (as part of the D.C. Talk super group) and grown into an artist worthy of merit on his own. Portable Sounds stands up to repeated listens with a fresh and energetic sound and a buoyant and unapologetic joy seldom heard. --Michael Lyttle

5 out of 5 stars Beautiful and Upbeat   December 9, 2008
This song is like the voice of the youth today and a reminder that contemporary christians and worshippers have also established their identity in their walk in faith for the songs of TobyMac speaks to the youth but never too hip hop not to appeal to the adult as well, his songs are upbeat and easy to sing along with not to mention a confirmation of our choices and decisions when we walk in faith and to follow God.

    5 out of 5 stars Fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!   September 20, 2008
This has to be Tobymac's best CD! His music is happy music and has a great meaning. His words keeps my focus where it should be. He's an upcoming artist I hope to hear and see more of.

1 out of 5 stars Toby Mac is a Satanist!!!   July 15, 2008

I just realized lots of his album covers as well as DC Talk's are blatantly showing their free masons belonging.

Toby Mac is an Illuminati (high ranked free mason like Jay-Z and so many others that r part of our daily lives. The Portable Sound cover is the very obvious symbol of the pyramid and the all seeing eye (stylized of course). This symboil is everywhere: Eiffel Tower, back of 1 dollar bill, Israel Logo etc... You can google "illuminati architecture"

You can see the all seeing eye in DC Talk covers as well, go to Amazon for some blatant examples:

    [...]

Once you know how to recognize free masons symbols you will see it's everywhere (like CBS logo, the all seeing eye)...all this helps those satanists to recognize each others.

Friends let's wake up! Christianity is being infiltrated (and has always been) by satanists like Billy Graham, Benny Hinn and co. You can recognize them by their symbols which is their secretive way to show their fellows that they r part of the same fraternity.

Do your research while Internet is still available.

    Thx for reading.

BTW I loved that album Portable Sound, but I cant listen to it knowing he's a satanist and globalist ("one world, one love etc..")

Hope it helps discern the wolfs in sheep disguise. As disappointing as it may seem i would advise you to throw any free masons (as far as it is recognizable) away. I will do so soon. Even P.O.D. one of my favorite band is utterly satanist in their covers (like Fundamental Elements album)

God bless, and don't forget Jesus Christ is the only real light and hopw for humanity. Don't be fooled by this world.

5 out of 5 stars My 3-year old daughter even loves it!   June 26, 2008
Another fun and quality album by Toby Mac.
As a teenager I enjoyed DC Talk, but am so glad that Toby Mac went solo. I have enjoyed all of his albums, as well as many of his concerts. I have a hard time listening to kiddie music, so I love it that my 3-year old would rather listen to Toby Mac than her music. :)
