Don't be put off July 23, 2008 There seems to some critisim for this album which i think is unjustified. I agree there are several weak songs such as "Rockstar", "Billy Brown" and "san angelo" but then there also some great ones such as "Come on back to me" "I believe" "Blind" "You are Mine" and "Innocent" in fact i'd say "Blind" and "Innocent" are two of my favorite third day songs ever. And the music as always is great and brilliantly mixed. Although it differs from their worship songs God is still the theme of practically all of them even if they don't actually have God or Jesus in the actual lyrics (how many christian songs do that?) but the heart of this album is still about God and the struggles of Christion life like all Third Day Albums. So don't let a few weaknesses or other reviews of an otherwise great album. I would deffinitly recomend it to anybody Third Day fans or otherwise. although not their best it is still a very good album. Buy it!
Solid, but not the Third Day we all love. January 22, 2008 A very good album, but not what you would expect from the masterminds of Third Day.
Third Day is my favorite January 7, 2008 Third Day is my favorite band. Great album. Seems to me the lyrics in this album may have a little focus on their life as a band and pitfalls of stardom. I might be reading a little too much into that so don't take what I said too seriously. Whether I'm right or wrong I'm not really complaining. Like I stated.....great album.
Weakest Effort September 29, 2007 Overall their weakest effort. Also the least memorable lyrics. No need to purchase this one.
Never out of my CD player for long! December 18, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Every song is great...I can't keep it out of my CD player for very long! My 5-yr-old daughter loves "Wire"...she messes up the words, but she doesn't care! My favorites are "Come on back to Me" because it gives such a great message of hope...no matter what you've done, no matter where you are, He always invites you to "come on back"...and "I will hold my head high" which inspires me to stand up for God regardless of the challenges. I also love "Innocent" which helps me remember how powerful the gift of salvation is. My least favorite is "Billy Brown", which I usually fast forward through. This CD rocks, and I love it!!!
