    5 out of 5 stars Pillar   November 17, 2008
Pillar for the love of the game. Is a great cd to have nice guitar sounds to it as well as the drums and vocals are good it is one of there very best album to date just if they only put maybye 2 more songs on it would be better. But it is way better than last album.

2 out of 5 stars An Album That Tries to Be Fun... And Ends Up Shallow   November 16, 2008
Boy, I feel kind of sorry for poor Pillar. Way back when, "Where do We Go From Here" was a pretty good album, "The Reckoning" had a very good radio hit on it... No such luck with "For the Love of the Game." In returning to the "classic" Pillar sound, the midwestern boys have grown monotonous, shallow and un-creative. I think it's great that these guys are out preaching and ministering to the masses, (I love all brothers in Christ) but as a musician, I cannot recommend this album to anyone but the most casual rock listeners.

5 out of 5 stars Great Album   July 22, 2008
Pillar keeps getting better. This album follows their anthem like songs found in the album Fireproof that skyrocketed them to the top of the charts. This is a great album that goes back to there roots and really shows who Pillar is!!!

5 out of 5 stars Rocking the Word   June 25, 2008
PILLAR is real rock. The album is awesome. See them in concert if you get a chance. Buy this Cd, recommend it to friends, buy it for birthday presents. After you purchase this and wear it out try Seventh Day Slumber and Skillet. Great music, great people. Support them as much as you can. Get on their website and buy a t-shirt!

5 out of 5 stars New album, great sound, more rock   May 23, 2008
The new album from Pillar is really good. These guy's continue to rock with strong lyrics and music. This is a good buy for those who are into hard rock without any valgarity. Pillar rocks!
