Very! Very! disappointed.
Here are the reasons:
-this item is not available to Canadian customers. I had it delivered to a US address and then forwarded to me. This was an additional $40 cost.
- the printable surface was not as large as I expected. (not to hub)
- I will never order blank DVDs through Amazon again.

I am sold on having a glossy look to the finish to the DVD print. So far I have had no burn errors.

I have been using the matte white verbatims for a long time and have been very satisfied. However, these glossy surface dvds just look better than the matte. Recording is the same as far as I can tell...excellent results. I just wish Verbatim made dual layer glossy printables.

These are Class 1 (best) DVD blanks. The glossy finish makes a professional looking multicolor label using an inkjet printer with appropriate software. I have used several hundred of the less expensive matte printable Verbatim label and have never made a coaster. The glossies just make a little better looking label but they cost more.
