Product Description We know Sarah Palin, John McCain's vice-presidential choice for 2008, is a former Wasilla High School basketball star, ex-beauty queen, and one-time journalist. But her life has also been blessed with abundant faith. Her faith is based on a personal relationship with God, and prayer. This book examines the power of prayer in Sarah's life and provides inspiration for all.

Misleading book. Not about Sarah Palin. October 30, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book is not about Sarah Palin. It is a book of biblical scriptures. While I love scripture, I already own several bibles and that is what this book is. I wanted to read more about Sarah Palin.
This book is about prayer, not about Palin October 13, 2008 If you want a simple introduction to prayer, maybe this is for you, but if you're looking for information on Sarah Palin, do not buy this book. I frankly feel cheated. The title and cover are completely misleading, questionable ethics demonstrated by the author of a Christian book. There are a few pages at the beginning about how Palin's life is a life of faith, not only politics, and a few pages at the end which are simply statements copied from other sources which provide evidence of Palin's faith life. The 120 pages in the middle have nothing directly to do with Palin at all. Benson apparently wrote a book on prayer and used the Palin phenomenon to market the book. Caveat emptor indeed. And the prayer material is almost all just cut and pasted passages from the Bible without any commentary by the author.
I recommend you buy a Bible and some other book on Palin. This is not serious publishing or honest marketing. I'm embarrassed that I fell for this. Learn from my example.
