Cool resource for Middle School boys January 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
For Christmas we got this for our 12 yr old son, who in the past has unequivocally said, "I hate the Bible - it's boring!" But since he got the Explore Biblezine, we've actually "caught" him with it under the covers when we come to tuck him in at night! On every page are "cool" and interesting facts and other sidebars that boys this age will find appealing and helpful. My husband is going through it to add little comments and affirming notes related to the various sidebars, adding even more meaning to our son's reading and their relationship. Can't say enough how much we appreciate this resource to get our son into God's word! Suggestion - cover it with clear contact paper to make it more durable, especially if it ends up getting used a lot! Explore is for middle schoolers - See Refuel for biblezine geared to high school boys.
GR8 read February 23, 2007 My son enjoys reading this book. It is a magazine version of the bible.
