 Devotion Book is Fantastic July 23, 2008
Ordered a few copies of this book for our two sons who are 13 and 15, and also one for my husband and me. It was our intention that each morning before our son's feet (and ours) hit the floor they would spend the first few minutes with God. This book has been great for a few reasons. 1) Each day is actual scripture reading, and is in the book (no looking it up, though my one son will read the version from his Bible which is NIV). 2) Each day includes scripture from the new and old testament that tie together. 3) Each day has commentary from a minister to further explain the reading. 4) Each day has a few thoughful questions to further one's faith on the reading. 5) The book covers the entire new testament with much of the old as well. 6) The book is visually well layed out. 7) Each day is two pages, starting on the left - so no turning pages. Most importantly, with this devotion book our sons are reading God's Word mostly - with some commentary. Not the other way around like many other devotion books. "My Time with God for Students" comes very highly recommended - from my entire family.

I purchased this same devotional for me and my husband and I enjoy the book. I was excited when I saw there was one for kids, when I received it I was disappointed to find out that the devotionals were identical to the book for adults, many of which I find difficult to understand. I wish the devotional was on the kids' level, something they could relate to daily.
