It's meant for high schoolers, but adults who haven't inhaled chalk dust for years might appreciate it even more. The process of organizing, researching and writing a paper is laid is out in easy-to-understand normal-speak. The chapters on grammar and usage are very user-friendly, and lots of extras (suffixes, parliamentary procedure, periodic table, metric system, the U.S. Constitution, world maps, etc.) make this an extraordinarily popular and useful household item. If you're feeling generous, you might even let the kid take it to school on occasion.

I ordered this book because I viewed an older copy from a co-worker. I have been very pleased with this book. It is direct and to the point without a lot excess verbage. I needed a refresher just simple english but this book supplies so much more. It is a worthy investment to anyone from 4th grade on up. I use it to help my daughter, a 4th grader, with her english homework. I would highly suggest this book.

I returned this book within a week of receiving it (my daughter did not need it for her class). I was charged a 50% restocking fee and for a shipping label that I did not use.
