Product Description Now kids ages 4 to 7 can have their very own devotional Bible! Using Bible stories, contemporary illustrations, and parent-child interactive activities, My Very First Devotional Bible helps young children learn to draw near to God. Each of the 52 devotions is tied to a Scripture selection from the New International Reader's version (NIrV -- "The NIV for Kids!") and is splashed with playful, full-color illustrations. My Very First Devotional Bible is the youngest in the popular line of Zondervan Devotional Bibles. Get your child started early on a lifetime of loving God!

Best Preschool Devotional We've Found So Far July 18, 2008 This is the best preschool devotional we've found so far. We actually own two copies of it. We bought a used copy on here (because it's out of print...grr), and wore it out. So we then bought a new copy (second-hand...again, out of print). It's well-written, biblically-grounded, gives some fun activity suggestions, and has cute illustrations. The devotion topics are always relevant and work really well for character training. Sometimes I wish the memory verses were a little more life-applicable and less dependent on the context of the story, but I won't take away any stars for that because you could easily pull a different memory verse for your child that relates to the story. Great way to get your kids started with a daily devotional and prayer time. I HIGHLY recommend this book. My only major lamentation is that it's out of print.
Excellent for toddlers, twos & threes August 23, 2007 I ordered this devotional Bible for our preschool. The teachers in the toddler, twos & threes rooms are crazy about it. The pictures are bright and cheerful, the stories are short, but the point is there - and there is a fun, short activity to do or scripture to say. I will be ordering more.
Excellent for young children! April 18, 2006 I put these bibles on my baby shower registry. Now my girls are 4 1/2 and we are still reading this bible every night. The stories are simple to follow, yet clearly explain right and wrong from God's perspective. I have watched my twins just listen (from age 12 mo) to doing the activities listed at the ends of the story. I look forward to them reading the stories to me soon. This is an A+ recommendation for any parent.
Excellent devotional for young children June 8, 2003 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Our kids are 3 and 4 and we have gone through this book twice and have started our third time. I bought another children's devotional book and it was not nearly as good so we keep coming back to this one. The illustrations are wonderful and our kids love to flip through the book just to look at the pictures. The stories are about things all children can relate to. I highly recommend this book for anyone with young children who would like to start a daily family devotion time.

Excellent, Excellent Book!!! I've bought a copy for my son, nephew and God-daughter. It's an excellent book for beginning the Christian education process with a child. The real world stories helps your child make the connection with the Scriptures and how they should be used for direction in our lives. The colorful illustrations are excellent also.
