Easy Praise and Worship January 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was the first Fake Book I purchased. Very helpful, although maybe not essential, was watching the DVD Piano for Quitters. He teaches the same method that the Fake Books employ.
There are so many songs, and most of them I recognize from church. If you want to learn to play for your own family worship time, or even for your Church's Worship Team, this is a wonderful book!
neat book January 4, 2007 great book, very easy to use. so many great songs included. would like to see a new edition.
Great book November 10, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great book. Lots of the music is in the Key of D
Excellent resource November 7, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As a Christian school music teacher and as someone involved in church music ministry, I use this book constantly. Almost every song I look for is in this collection. It is incredibly helpful to have one giant resource to look at rather than searching through dozens of books to find one song. I highly recommend this book.
A comprehensive list and format of many great songs November 6, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a fairly full list of wonderful songs, laid out in an excellent, pleasing format. All of the songs are in the right singable keys. Although a couple of them are incomplete (only the chorus is written, for example), it is a great tool for learning songs.
It has both a well-laid-out alphabetical song list and a extremely useful list sorted by keys.
I was very pleased to find all that this book offered, in a style that is a joy to play from. While I don't think it is quite a standalone all-in-one list of old and new worship songs, I highly recommend it to anyone starting their collection of worship songbooks.
