I'm sorry to say this relic of the mime/improv "hippie" era has almost no story, despite it's biblical leanings. The song "Day by Day" brings back some nice memories, but the rest is a bit too Dada.
The film has some really amazing shots of old NY the way it looked before the 1970's took hold...really fascinating.
Some friends of mine did this show in college in 1980. 28 years later trying to watch this effort on DVD for the first time I can only imagine their interpretation of this play must have been a mess. Sorry guys.

Some great music, but the movie is quite dated. Almost makes fun of the Bible in its approach.

I've been a fan of this movie since childhood. I love the movie and it is seldom on TV. I just had to have it. The music is fantastic and a great way for kids to learn the teaching of Jesus.
