Top Drawer Presentation Of The Trevails Of The Early Church January 14, 1999 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Anthony Hopkins and an exceptional cast take the obviously well-researched story of the early Christian church from Acts and Paul's epistles. Viewing this feature is a way for one to visually, mentally close any gap in their understanding of why the survival and growth of Christianity must certainly have been the will of God. At $33 it is not cheap, but likely it will be the most timeless and practical title in your video collection.
historically accurate; biblically accurate; powerful December 3, 1998 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have used this video in adult classes and in overseas seminary classes. I know of no other video that brings to life the power of the conflict of gospel and law in the young church. The performances of Peter & Paul are both excellent. You can't go wrong; it's great!
Best choice to people who wants to know the apostles times. November 27, 1998 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
A great movie, based on deep research about the first years of the borning church. After Jesus, his disciples are in a mission to tell the world about their new faith.
