this is an amazing dvd for all christian people around the world don't miss it
Book of Acts April 11, 2008 I think the creators of this did an amazing job. It is word for word the Bible, and it is acted out well. I use it for a Bible study, as much as for entertainment.
Visual Bible - Acts April 8, 2008 This movies is great. It follows the bible book of Acts very well. I use this as a study guide for my children and bible school students. I highly recommend this movie for those of us who needs a visual with written words.
Book of Acts January 23, 2008 This is an excellent DVD. The dialogue follows the NIV version exactly. The actors do a great job of portraying the beginnings of the church. It is an excellent teaching tool for individuals or classes.
Visual Bible - Acts November 26, 2007 What can I say, One can watch and read, and read and watch the movie over and over again. The word of God is always alive, reading it, play-acting it, is always beneficial. My only comment is, who came Luke did not heal the girl Jesus way, I am sure as an inspired writer and disciple, he too has the gift of healing.(or is the writer and director saying, that the gifts past away with the apostles?) Anyway the boat trip is not in ACTS, it only provided the background of the location of Luke. Using the Jesus of the "Matthew" movie is good, it provides continuity to ACTS. The movie as contained in ACTS is super.
