Men Cry in the Dark June 7, 2008 This was an excellent play. Very funny and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys good African American plays.
Not What I Expected April 7, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I haven't actually made it through the whole play yet because it's so filled with cursing and sexual conversations, and I don't think I want to. I don't recommend this one for anyone. I bought it thinking is was another Christian play, but I was wrong.
GRREAT!!!! March 3, 2008 I was lucky enough to see this play when it came to my city (Though Allen Payne wasn't there). It was great I am a HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christopher Williams fan and he was excellent. I was even lucky enough to talk w/ him on the phone back in the early 90's and took a piture w/ him during intermission of this play. It was good and I recommend it to everyone.
LOVED IT!!! January 27, 2008 When I saw Allen Payne on the Cover, I had to get it and I'm glad I did. This play was funny, dramatic and I found myself anticipating what would happen next. I was truly captured and the ending was a surprise.
Men Cry in the Dark January 1, 2008 I enjoyed this play as much as I enjoyed the book. It still didn't answer the age old question of if a woman gives a man her all why does he fail to be faithful although he won't accept less than her complete dedication to him.
