The Altar and the Door July 5, 2008 This was a very moving and very relevant CD. I would recommend it to others who are Casting Crowns fans.
Amazing, hard-hitting album June 4, 2008 Casting Crowns has released another amazing album. East to West is my favorite song on the CD, but Slow Fade, Somewhere in the Middle, The Altar and the Door, and All Because of Jesus are also really good songs. A powerful piece of work. Well done, CC!!
This is a great album!!!! May 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this album. "The Altar and the Door" is a great song, as is "East to West". But I think my favorite is "What This World Needs". This song just spoke a lot to me. A definte have album!!
great April 28, 2008 I really enjoy Casting Crowns. They sing about real life circumstances and lean on the Lord while having a more modern-upbeat sound that kids and adults will enjoy (light rock'ish'). I put both of their cds right onto my ipod and have been listening to them ever since...
Good CD March 26, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If I had it to do over again I might pick up a different CD from this one. With that said it is a good CD, once again hitting on Christian principles of living out your faith in a genuine way. I was a little disappointed though, it seemed to me that they rehashed some of the themes from their old albulmns, and the songs sound a little stale. Nothing really struck me with "wow". I know they do what they do with much personal conviction, I guess I had a hard time seeing that this time around.
