When I'm struggling with specific things in my life, this book draws me back again and again. I think all Christians would enjoy it whether they are just starting down that path, or they've been on the path for many years. It gives me the words I need to say to God when I'm struggling to find them on my own and it is presented in an easily digestible way. I love how Beth chose to organize the book. It's easy to pick up and start where you need it the most when you need it the most. I know that saying, 'there are no quick fixes' and to some degree I think it's true, but I feel like every time I return to this book I am blessed through a stronger relationship with God. If you're struggling with your prayer life, or if you have a stronghold in your life that feels bigger than you...I highly recommend you give this a shot.

The Scriptures tell us to keep watch over our souls, but most of us women are so used to caretaking for others, even in our prayers that we forget to even pray over ourselves! (to pray HIS WORD daily for others check out "ALPHABET PRAYERS the Power of Praying Scripture into the Hearts You Love").
I love this book, in that she does emphasize that we ARE to pray for ourselves..keeping us spiritually healthy to pray for others!
The best way of course to KEEP WATCH is in PRAYER & HIS WORD..doing both is DOUBLE-PACKED POWER!
THE WORD OF GOD IS THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, there is NOTHING MORE POWERFUL THAN PRAYING GOD'S WORD! IT IS HIS CREATING, TRANSFORMING POWER! To pray His Word is to PRAY HIS WILL, so that we KNOW we have that which we ASK! THIS IS TRULY THE WAY TO ASK & RECEIVE AND TO KEEP ASKInG IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. "Be strong in the Lord and in His Power!!!Praying at all times in the Holy Spirit." She has done a beautiful job covering all the different areas that we all need to KEEP WATCH OVER OUR SOULS, giving us all we need to stand firm in HIS POWER, and by giving the Spirit It's Weapon of the WORD!
WHATEVER YOUR STRUGGLE, WHATEVER YOU ARE GOING THROUGH SPIRITUALLY, MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY and/or EMOTIONALLY you will find Scriptures to pray for until YOU EXPERIENCE VICTORY!
I like that not only does she cover each topic in Scriptures that she has made into prayers, but that she begins each "topic" with encouragement from people who have been there and seen "THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING!" They've "been there-done that" and these are some of the Scriptures that got them through it, and some that Beth herself has added! I have had to buy more than one as I keep giving mine away to others I know that need DELIVERANCE & VICTORY!

This is an excellent source for a prayer group. Our church has been using it and we are learning alot from the way it was written. It is a wonderful book and I would recomment it to a group or a single reader. CB

This book is wonderful. It's been life-changing for myself and others. I've loaned it to many and given it as a gift on many occasions. One of my top three all-time favorites.
