Anyone praying and waiting for REAL revival should read this book!!! August 14, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Incredible book that all Christians should read. Like Lee Grady said, As Charismatics, we shouldn't "check our brains at the door" when attending any kind of church service. God WILL give us the discernment we need to know what is deception and what is truth. If you want a rock-solid description of what revival truly is... READ THIS BOOK!

True or False Revival July 29, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It's about time someone spoke out about the deceptions being passed as truth. Too many gullable people have been deceived already. It's time christians woke up and read their Bibles. Mine says That you shall know them by their fruit,so far the fruit from this "revival" is not good at all Thanks Andrew You.ve done well in speaking out. Trevor
Holiness equals truth, anything else is a lie July 29, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Having read both the first book "Why I left the Prophetic Movement" and now this book, I can honestly say that the Prophetic Movement, and all attached to it, or those who want to be associated with it, are very seriously in error.
God calls us to serve Him, as a Holy God, in holiness and reverence, and there is just so much rubbish in the current Prophetic Movement, that it should offically rename itself the Pathetic Movement, what with its interest and beliefs that angelic visitations for finances, and fairy gold dust are from the God of the Living.
Having been a part of the Pentecostal movement in Australia for the past 10+ years, I have see the excesses mentioned in this book become more and more commonplace, and heard less and less on the need for people to repent and forgive.
This book opens the spiritual eyes to what lies have been allowed to grow and fester within the 'church' today and it makes one spirit sick, just to be associated with all the ridiculous goings on that has become the norm.
Great Help July 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good read. Clears up a lot of questions after having been raised in some of the false movements. Thanks for standing for truth no matter what the cost.
