This book will save you a lot of heartache. Please read before attending Church, function or associating with any person who has had an association with Todd Bentley, directly or indirectly.
Andrew gives a detailed background on the root of these `outbreaks' which can be likened to a contagious disease or virus.
The sad thing is about this is that it appeals to people like me who are hungry to know the Lord to be closer and who truly seek him. They are the ones who are asking the Lord why we aren't walking in power and spirit like the Old and New Testament. So the hungry ones are being set up for a big fall and because they are "seeing and feeling" things they think their prayers are being answered and God is giving them a "special touch" and "wowing his children." Mat 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign....... 2Co 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
The reason I know this is because I fell for this. I went to a function in Melbourne held by someone who had received the impartation (virus) and now there are outbreaks all over Australia.
I thank the Lord for people like Andrew that make us think about why we do what we do. Since I was deceived in this area I made me start to question what we do in church and why and to my shock there are so many things we do in church that actually aren't scripturally in the bible.
2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. 1Th 5:21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 1Jn 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
A Holy Spirit Lead Book!!! July 19, 2008

I read this book in one day!! I was hooked from page one, and really felt the Spirit of the Lord within me come into agreement with these words of wisdom. Thank you Andrew for being a faithful servant of the Lord, despite facing adversity and condemnation because of it. These times call for great discerment and this book is a perfect tool to demonstrate how we as beievers should do it. This was a honest look at the Lakeland Revival, free of personal attack or bitterness. Only a genuine humble person filled with the Spirit of God to enlighten believers based on the Word of God oncerning these issues. Well worth the read. My hope is Andrew will continue to write as God gifts him, and share new material to educate us on revival God's way.

I received my copy of the first run of this book and sat on my front porch and read it straight through! I had tried watching parts of this "revival" and the Spirit would not let me stay there. I can feel Andrew's sorrow that his one-time friend would go so far astray. I have had very close Christian friends get so far astray and you can't make them see the need to turn back to their first love.

Andrew's book has very important infornation for any believer who has questions or concerns about the strange manifestations that are happening in so called "christian gatherings". Seems like this type of "revival" is the great deception that Jesus talked about that if it were possible deceive the very elect. I also appreciate that true revival gets explained and not just the false. we need to know the true prophets of God and the real gifts and miracles of the Holy Spirit.

This book should be read by every Christian that really desires to know the Heart of God and to see his real glory. We live in very perlous times and Jesus warned us of these times in his word. This book brought me to repentance. Repntance of looking for manifestation; and not listening to the decerning voice of the Lord. I personally thank God for Andrew Strom for having the courage to speak and stand for holiness and rightousness.
