 Great version of the Bible July 23, 2008

I use this Bible as a gift to people attending an evangelism course and they love it. It's New Living Translation so it's easy to read and it has a lot of notes and comments to help understanding.

Someone gave me this Bible and I cannot put it down! I have been a believer for many years and want to share the Good News with friends and relatives. I am buying more copies to use as a witnessing tool. Also, I am preparing lessons to present in our prison ministry. Wonderful lessons can be drawn from the concise articles and ways the gospel is presented in this Bible.

I love this little book. More than once I have given copies of it to friends who are seeking and do not have their own Bible. It is especially good for this considering it is small, easy to read, and inexpensive. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for something simple, especially if they are just beginning on their path.

I have used this Bible to share the Gospel with non believers and it is amazing how they react to what they read. This bible is written in todays English, so it speaks to them. This Bible stimulates a hunger for more reading in people that otherwise wouldn't read the Bible. It takes out the guess work on what the verses are trying to say.
