 The best gift I know July 23, 2008
I enjoy my copy so much that I buy these for friends. I think it is hard for people to imagine how good it is to read the whole Bible in one year.

This is a perfect way to start the day or end the day! The reading is not only inspirational, but enlightening. Everyday, I find myself taking notes and researching more. One day, I asked God to speak to me like He spoke to Gideon, as that day the reading was about his story, in the book of Judges. I looked away to pray, when I turned back to my place, the Word jumped out at me, and I knew it was the answer I had been seeking. God spoke to me in such a way I could not deny it. Please read this, and watch yourself grow! I take it in the car with me, to the doctor, everywhere.
Rating the One Year Bible - NIV March 2, 2008
I love this bible - very easy to understand the language in the New Internation Version. I also purchased the old KJV and this one is so much better - in my opinion anyway!
Again, purchases from Amazon always arrive very promptly! I'm very happy with my purchase! I would recommend this version to anyone buying a new bible.

Great family project January 26, 2008
For our family New Year's resolution, we want to grow spiritually, so my husband and I bought this book to read with our 10 year old son each night (when possible). It is great! A little of the old testament with a little of the new testament with a nice psalm or proverb...great way to read the Bible and make it not so intimidating! Great way to create dialog with our son---would definitely recommend. Wish I would have done this years ago with this book!
