Just Beyond the Clouds October 24, 2008 Karen Kingsbury never fails to produce Christian fiction that is believable, often heart-wrenching, and yet wonderfully life-changing. As always, she writes about the issues real people face, the way real people often choose to deal with their problems. But every character in the book grows spiritually and emotionally and becomes a better person for having made some difficult choices.
It's more than a romance... October 23, 2008 Just Beyond the Clouds definitely offers romance, but to a greater degree it is the story of Elle and her work with Down Syndrome adults. Karen Kingsbury creates a group of adults that touch your heart and you join in their struggle for independence. Yes, as a reader you are cheering for Elle and Cody, but at the same time you reach our to Carl Joseph and Daisy. This book is definitely worth reading. (by, Dona Norton, author of On wings to Fly)
