The outline of the bible on this page explains why it such a good study tool. And while I am not a student as in high school or college, I am a student of the bible, and that is where this comes in handy. The colorful pictures, and abundant study aides make it a go to source when I study. But, Holman has nothing but the best bibles, imho. and this one does not disappoint.
The pages are a little different, the paper it is made from, and I was afraid they would tear or be more fragile than my other bibles, but the worry was for naught. It is sturdy welcome addition to my library.

For the first time in MANY years of ordering from Amazon, a book arrived in poor shape. Books are usually shrink-wrapped to a rigid cardboard backing, but this one was rattling around loose in the box. The result? bent and crumpled pages. Ordinarily, I would have sent it back, but I needed the book ASAP for a class. Tsk, tsk, Amazon...
